We are looking for a Pharma & Biotech Engineering Intern who is analytical, collaborative, and detail-oriented to join us in our Manufacturing Support team, based in our UCB office in Bulle, Switzerland.

 

About the role

This 6-month internship focuses on risk analysis and qualification processes within pharmaceutical manufacturing. You’ll help harmonize and structure risk data to ensure compliance with GMP standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Who you’ll work with

You’ll collaborate closely with qualification leads, the site’s process partner, and teams from production and quality assurance. You’ll be part of a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment committed to excellence in pharma and biotech.

 

What you’ll do

  • Collect, compare, and structure data from various risk analyses
  • Build a standardized risk catalog for production systems
  • Link risks to URS requirements and existing control measures
  • Implement the catalog in qualification and documentation tools (QALM, Source)
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

 

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

  • Engineering, pharmacy, or science master’s degree program
  • Strong analytical, synthesis, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with interdisciplinary communication and continuous improvement
  • Autonomous, curious, rigorous, and passionate about pharma/biotech
  • Experience in GMP pharmaceutical environment is a plus
  • Proficiency in both English and French is required
